The Lasensor GLPC-101 Portable Compressed Gas Particle Counter is designed specifically for this type of application. It enables direct particle measurement of pressurized gases from 0.1 MPa to 1 MPa, without the need for external high-pressure separators or decompression devices.

With 0.1 μm sensitivity, eight particle-size channels, a 2.83 L/min flow rate, and integrated data management functions, GLPC-101 provides a portable solution for compressed gas cleanliness monitoring.


01 Product Overview

The GLPC-101 Portable Compressed Gas Particle Counter is designed for direct cleanliness monitoring of pressurized gases.

Unlike conventional particle measurement setups that may require pressure reduction before the gas enters the particle counter, GLPC-101 is designed to accept gas pressures from 0.1 MPa to 1 MPa directly.

The instrument can be used with CDA, nitrogen, and other inert gases, making it suitable for a variety of compressed gas monitoring applications.

With a flow rate of 2.83 L/min and particle-size channels ranging from 0.1 μm to 5.0 μm, GLPC-101 provides detailed particle concentration information across eight particle-size ranges.

Its integrated 7-inch Android display, built-in thermal printer, large data storage capacity, and RS485/Ethernet communication interfaces make it suitable for both on-site measurement and centralized data management.

02 Why Monitor Particles in Compressed Gas?

Compressed gases are often used in processes where even relatively small amounts of particulate contamination can affect production conditions.

For example, compressed air or nitrogen may come into contact with manufacturing equipment, process lines, instruments, or other critical components. If particles are present in the gas, they may be introduced into the process together with the gas flow.

Particle monitoring can therefore be used to evaluate the cleanliness of compressed gas at different points in a gas distribution system.

Typical monitoring questions include:

  • Is the compressed gas clean enough for the intended process?

  • Are particle levels changing at different sampling points?

  • Has contamination entered the gas distribution system?

  • Is the gas quality maintained after maintenance or equipment changes?

03 Direct Measurement Without Decompression

One of the key features of GLPC-101 is its ability to measure pressurized gas directly.

In a conventional measurement setup, high-pressure gas may need to pass through additional components before entering a particle counter. Pressure-reducing devices or high-pressure separators may be used to bring the gas to a suitable measurement condition.

GLPC-101 is designed to simplify this process.

The gas can be introduced directly into the instrument within the specified pressure range:

0.1 MPa → 1 MPa
