1. Product Overview

The LPC-110A uses the optical light-scattering principle to detect and count airborne particles according to their size.

  • Designed for inline and continuous particle monitoring.

  • Detects particles from 0.1 µm.

  • 28.3 L/min flow rate provides efficient air sampling.

  • Compact structure makes it suitable for installation in limited spaces.

  • Measurement data can be transmitted to an external monitoring system.

  • Suitable for integration into centralized cleanroom monitoring platforms.

2. Product Features

  • Long-life semiconductor laser with a lifespan of more than 35,000 hours.

  • Stable optical performance for reliable particle counting.

  • Compact and lightweight design, weighing approximately 2.8 kg.

  • RS485 communication for connection with external monitoring systems.

  • Supports Modbus RTU and customized communication protocols.

  • External vacuum pump configuration allows flexible system installation.

  • No built-in display, making the instrument suitable for applications where measurement and control are handled by a central system.

3. Designed for Inline Monitoring

Unlike portable particle counters that are moved from one sampling point to another, the LPC-110A is designed to remain installed at a designated monitoring location.

  • Enables continuous monitoring without repeated manual sampling.

  • Can be installed at fixed monitoring points within a cleanroom or production environment.

  • Particle data can be transmitted to a central monitoring system in real time.

  • Multiple LPC-110A units can be integrated into one monitoring network.

  • Suitable for applications where continuous particle information is required for process or environmental monitoring.

This design can help reduce repeated manual measurements and provide a more consistent monitoring workflow.

4. Particle Detection

The LPC-110A uses a semiconductor laser as its optical light source and measures airborne particles according to different particle size channels.

  • Particle size channels: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and 5.0 µm.

  • Size resolution: <15% at 0.5 µm, complying with ISO 21501-4.

  • Counting efficiency at 0.5 µm: 50% ±20%.

  • Maximum concentration: 1,000,000 pcs/ft³.

  • Zero count: ≤10 min.

The multi-channel configuration allows particle concentration changes to be monitored across different size ranges rather than relying on a single particle-size threshold.

5. Communication & System Integration

The LPC-110A is designed to function as a measurement unit within a larger particle monitoring system.

  • RS485 interface for data communication.

  • Supports Modbus RTU protocol.

  • Customized communication protocols can be provided according to integration requirements.

  • Can communicate with external software, controllers, or monitoring platforms.

  • Suitable for centralized collection of data from multiple monitoring points.

With centralized communication, particle counters installed at different locations can be connected to a common monitoring architecture.

6. Compact Installation

The LPC-110A is designed with installation flexibility in mind.

  • Dimensions of approximately 205 × 121.5 × 160 mm.

  • Weight of approximately 2.8 kg.

  • Compact size for installation where available space is limited.

  • 304 stainless steel housing as standard.

  • Customized stainless steel options, including 316L, are available.

  • External vacuum pump configuration provides flexibility for different installation layouts.

7. Applications

The LPC-110A can be used in applications requiring continuous or integrated airborne particle monitoring, including:

  • Cleanroom monitoring

  • Pharmaceutical and controlled environments

  • Semiconductor and electronics manufacturing

  • Process equipment monitoring

  • Filter material testing

  • Mask testing

  • Centralized environmental monitoring systems

  • Automated particle monitoring systems

For applications with multiple monitoring points, the LPC-110A can be integrated into a centralized system to collect particle data from different locations.
